The inaugural Concrete Canoe Competition is organized in celebration of Jabatan Pengairan dan Saliran Malaysia (JPS) 75th anniversary. It will take place from 14-15th December 2007 at Taman Tasik Cyberjaya. Participants from both the public and civil engineering students from across the country will cruise into JPS Concrete Canoe Competition, where they will make the impossible a reality: design,build and race canoes made of concrete. The best ang brightest teams will compete for RM25,000 total proze in various categories including the best final product and five canoe racing events.
